PUBLIC HEARING:
1. Special Permit Application for Fire Wharf Reconstruction on the western terminus of Academy Lane in connection with Section 5.4.3 of the Old Lyme Zoning Regulations, Town of Old Lyme, applicant – WITHDRAWN by letter dated June 18, 2015 from Attorney William Sweeney, attorney for the Town
REGULAR MEETING:
1. New Business – None
2. Old Business – Discussion with respect to the definition of “school” as an amendment to the Zoning Regulations – Set Public Hearing
A Motion was made by J. Johnson, seconded by S. Winchell to submit a Petition to Amend the Zoning Regulations to add the definition of “school” which is as follows: “School – Any structure, the use of which meets State licensing requirements for accredited primary, secondary or college instruction and education. Such school may be public or private and is a permitted structure and use in all zoning districts.” And to set a public hearing for Wednesday, September 16, 2015. No discussion and a vote was taken. In favor: J. Cable, J. Marsh, J. Johnson, G. Soucie, S. Winchell Opposed: None Abstaining: None The motion passed unanimously. 5-0-0
3. Approval of Minutes
– Minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Meeting of April 13, 2015
A Motion was made by J. Marsh, seconded by S. Winchell to Approve the Minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Meeting of April 13, 2015 as submitted. No discussion and a vote was taken. In favor: J.
Cable, J. Marsh, Gil Soucie, S. Winchell Opposed: None Abstaining: J. Johnson The motion passed. 4-0-1

A Motion was made by J. Johnson, seconded by G. Soucie to Approve the Minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Meeting of June 8, 2015 as submitted. No discussion and a vote was taken. In favor: J.
Cable, J. Marsh, J. Johnson, G. Soucie, S. Winchell Opposed: None Abstaining: None The motion passed unanimously. 5-0-0
